EuropeActive is excited to announce the launch of its T20 Fittech Advisory Group, which aims to provide an impactful and innovative professional network for smaller and medium-sized fittech companies and startups working in and around the fitness and physical activity sector. The T20 group will consist of 20 selected European fittech companies and startups, including a number of tech companies from EuropeActive’s President’s Council for Suppliers Digital & Tech (PCSDT).

The T20 will function as an expert group advising and guiding EuropeActive and the fitness and physical activity sector on its strategic development and initiatives relating to digitisation and tech. Furthermore, the T20 Group will facilitate high-level best-practice sharing between fittech peers, innovation, professional networking, explore funding opportunities, as well as ensure that the realities and needs of fittech and startups are represented by the industry's European and national associations.

Some concrete deliverables from the group include defining EuropeActive's tech strategy moving forward and an Active Tech e-book, which is intended to be the go-to fittech publication of our sector’s leaders. The T20 group will also be heavily involved in defining EuropeActive’s tech agenda and sessions at its major stakeholder events, incl. during FIBO Week.

Commenting on the T20 Group, EuropeActive CEO Andreas Paulsen said: "I am thankful and thrilled that we are now ready to launch this new permanent stakeholder advisory group of EuropeActive, which will function under the auspices of our President’s Council for Suppliers, Digital & Tech. Fittech and digital innovation is essential to expanding and diversifying our market in the coming years, and it is crucial that we solidly connect fittech to our industry in general.

We owe a great amount of gratitude to Jennifer Halsall-de Wit, Grace McNamara, Anthony Vennare, Peter Croft and the tech leads of Basic-Fit, Fitness Park and PureGym, and all the fittech companies and startups who have committed themselves to the establishment and success of EuropeActive’s T20 advisory group", he concluded.
